I read too much and not enough at the same time.
My zombie name is "Emily Blight."
My hipster alter ego is "Albie Streets."
My thug alias is "B-Real."
My heroic moniker is "Embeth Lassiter."
I have a literary tattoo.
I dig the grotesque.
I could defend myself in a court of law because of Law & Order.
Once I had a Faulknerian nightmare. I told my Faulkner-scholar professor about it and she said: "Ah, yes: the geometric one."
I'm a collector of esoterica.
I have this slight obsession with all things Oz-related.
Quite a few of my posts have to do with my various theories on The Wizard of Oz , both the books and the films, but primarily the 1939 classic starring Judy Garland. (By the by, did you know that Liza Minelli is Judy Garland's daughter? I think the world can be divided into two types of people: the people who know that fact and the people who don't.)
I'm also a literature freak and wannabe English PhD candidate, so many of my posts are reviews of things I've read, what I want to read next, and what everyone should be reading.
What remains is a mixed bag of pop culture trivia, inebriated ramblings, esoteric queries, day-to-day meanderings and the like.
And my little dog, too.
